General

ACCURACY: Please check your travel documents for accuracy. It is imperative that names are spelled exactly as they appear on your passport. Please also double-check the departure city, departure and return dates, the resort, the room category and occupancy (who you are sharing with). 

*Please note that any name changes, or changes to your flights or hotel reservation from now until 1 week prior to departure may be at a change penalty of $150 per change (and/or subject to the supplier's change policies if these should be different). No changes are permitted within 7 days prior to departure in most cases. 

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION – MEXICO TRAVEL**
Travelers need a valid passport to enter Mexico. The traveler's passport must remain valid throughout the traveler's stay in Mexico. The passport must have at least 1 blank page per entry to Mexico. Foreign nationals visiting the state of Quintana Roo are required to pay a tourism tax (Visitax) of MXN 283.00 (USD 16.00). The payment can be made online before arrival or on arrival in Mexico. READING YOUR TRAVEL VOUCHERS: You will see one airline voucher per passenger and one hotel voucher per room. There are no airport transfer vouchers as your name will instead be on the manifest of the transportation company. 

It is VERY important to read the additional information printed on the vouchers as it pertains to the instructions and policies of your reservation. 

Please Note: Some tour operators do not print punctuation or spaces on their tickets. If you see that your first name and middle name or any hyphenated last names are joined together, this is standard and does not pose any problems at the airport or hotel.

VALID PASSPORT: It is imperative that you have a valid passport when traveling abroad. It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure they meet all of the requirements to gain entry into the country they are traveling to. AIRPORT CHECK-IN: We recommend that you follow the tour operator's suggested check-in time of a minimum 3-4 hours prior to departure.   

SEAT SELECTION or UPGRADES: There is a charge for advance seat selection and/or air seat upgrades by the tour operator prior to 24 hours before departure and is complimentary in most cases when you do online check-in on the airlines web-site within 24 hours of departure.

Further to this, I would like to remind you that FLIGHT TIMES are subject to change and it is your responsibility to contact the airline within 12 hours of departure to re-check the flight times.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: Generally speaking, each passenger is allowed one checked luggage piece per passenger, maximum 20 kg. Carry-on with dimensions not exceeding 23cm x 40cm x 50 cm and 5 kg is an additional fee.  However, we suggest that you refer to your travel vouchers or contact the airline directly below for more information.
